Performance Benefits
Crack Resistance
Europlaster will not crack over stable substrates and has some flexibility. It is a high solids and high viscosity material, which allows it to cover small cracks and nail holes and it will take nails without cracking. it may be installed over elastomeric coatings for restoration purposes.
Abrasion Resistance
Europlaster passes the 'coin test'. A quarter can be repeatedly rubbed hard on the Europlaster surface with little or no disturbance of the surface. The residue of the coin can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Gouges into surfaces can be repaired.
Waterproof, Breathable. Mildew Resistant
Europlaster may be installed in damp environments and has exterior capability. It retains good breathability to water vapor, combating the development of mildew. This makes it a superior coating to commercial vinyl wall coverings, by protecting wall structures from mildew damage. As a replacement for vinyl, it also eliminates off-gasing and costs associated with its removal and disposal.
Washable and Stain Resistant
Europlaster has exceptionally high adhesion and abrasion resistance being made of copolymer acrylic resins and fine aggregate. It will not delaminate with scrubbing. Food stains, including wine, oil, and coke wipe or wash off.
Deeper stain marks, including inks, can be repaired.
